Helen Drwal Maciolek , age 94, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones in Hollywood, FL, on November 21, 2014. Helen was born in Jersey City, NJ, and raised in the Phoenix section of Edison. She lived, worked, raised a family, and was the owner and operator of The Glamour Beauty Salon in Fords for over 70 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominic Maciolek, who died in 1995. Helen is survived by her three beloved sons, John Maciolek and daughter-in-law, Erma, of Marco Island, FL, Richard Maciolek and Bill Maciolek, both of Hollywood, FL. , her grandson, Michael, granddaughters, Jennifer, Lisa, and Kelly, and four great grand children, her sister, Julie Mezey and brother-in-law, John. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10 a.m, from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 :30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords, NJ.
