Helen M. Kopac (nee Holovacko), 94, of Edison died December 8, 2010, at Haven Hospice at JFK Hospital.

Born in Proctor, Vermont, Helen resided in Edison. Prior to Edison, she resided in Hopelawn. She was a homemaker. Helen was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church; Columbiettes Charter Member, a member of Raritan Engine Company #2 Ladies Auxiliary; a member of the Clara Barton Seniors, Edison Democratic Association, and the Middlesex County Democratic Association.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Kopac, who died in 1981, and her son, Andrew P. Kopac. She is survived by two sons: Francis J. Kopac and his wife Patricia of Fords, and Robert Kopac and his wife Marilyn of Wyolusing, PA; five grandchildren: Chris, Richard, and Robert Kopac; Kimberly Laws and Jill Anne Carney; two sisters: Anne Hogan of Hazlet and Lillian Hahn of Milltown; four great-grandchildren: Anthony and Ryan Laws, Ashleigh Carney, and Robert Kopac, Jr.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 8:30 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 9:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Fords. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, December 10 from 7:00-9:00 PM.
