Helen Duda, 96, of South Amboy, passed away on March 3, 2022, at the Venetian in South Amboy. She was born in New York City on July 29, 1925. Helen resided in Old Bridge since 1961 before moving to South Amboy in 2018. She was a Secretary for the Piscataway Vocational Technical High School retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption and was a soloist in the church choir. Helen was also a member of the League of Ukrainian Catholics.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Michael Duda, in 1992.

She is survived by a niece, Arline Bukowski, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and a friend, Randolph J. Siluk, of Ridgefield Park.

Visitation will be on Sunday March 6, 2022, from 2-4 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Monday, 9:30 am, at the funeral home followed by a Service of Divine Liturgy at 10 am at the church. Interment will be in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery.
