Helen Benanito (nee: Patskanick), 98, of Pt. Pleasant Beach, passed away on March 5, 2016 at Garden Hills Senior Residence, Ocean Township.
She was born in Minersville, PA., resided in Perth Amboy for 60 years before moving to Pt. Pleasant Beach 11 years ago. She worked as a seamstress in Perth Amboy for 11 years.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Francis in 2005, her daughter, Christina in 1978 and 11 brothers and sisters.
Surving is her daughter, Nancy Benanito-Sgromolo and her husband Joseph of Pt. Pleasant Beach, her sister, Ann Redus and her husband John, her dear friend, Richard Wingerter, her beloved pets especially Becky Blue Bonnet.
Family and friends will gather for a funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Good Shepard Parish Most Holy Rosary Church, 625 Florida Grove Rd, Hopelawn, NJ with interment to follow at Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Hopelawn.
