Hedwig M. Ohlson 91, of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest Sunday May 27, 2012, in Haven Hospice at J F K Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Metuchen for the past 58 years.

Hedwig was a secretary at AT&T in Piscataway for 16 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metuchen, a member of the Moose Lodge #1360 in Perth Amboy, and the Holy Spirit Senior Citizens.

Hedwig was predeceased by her husband Clair Wilbur Ohlson in 1991. She is survived by her daughter Donna Claire Ohlson of Metuchen, two grandchildren Sharon Wodzinski and Theodore Wodzinski Jr., and her great granddaughter Ashleigh Wodzinski.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at 11 am with Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
