Harry Rivera, 79, of Perth Amboy, passed away on May 24, 2022, at his home. Harry was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, on April 25, 1943, and moved to Perth Amboy in the 1950s.

Harry was a veteran of the US Army and served as a medic in Vietnam. After the war, Harry worked in construction.

Besides being an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Harry enjoyed working on his cars and self-study in a number of subject areas, including the bible, automotive repair, and criminal science.

Harry is survived by Hector Rivera of Perth Amboy, Kendra Taylor of Pennsylvania, Kenneth Taylor of Perth Amboy, and many nephews and cousins.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 4, 2022, 12 noon-2 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
