Harry E. Peterson Jr., 82, of Hampton, passed away on November 1, 2023, at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan.  He was born in Perth Amboy and lived in Fords before moving to Hampton 9 years ago.  Harry was a Truck Driver for Con-Lux Coatings, Edison for 20 plus years.  He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton.  Harry was a Member of the Lafayette Lodge # 27, Free and Accepted Masons, Rahway, 32nd Degree and Scottish Rite of Central Valley.  He was also a member of the Amboy Dukes Marching Band, Perth Amboy.  Harry enjoyed fishing, bowling and was a member of the Bud-Man Softball Team.

Harry is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Beatrice Peterson, and his sisters, Patricia Arne, Elizabeth Eddy, Trudy Kurtz and Joann Clark.

Harry is survived by his wife Bonnie A. Peterson of 40 ½ years; his five children, Vincent Ceglia and his wife Tracy of Hampton, David Peterson and his wife Amy of Long Valley, Scott Ceglia and his wife Jennifer of Downingtown, PA, Christie Milchak and her husband Jason of Hackettstown and Matthew Ceglia and his wife Melissa of Hampton; eight grandchildren, Joey, Vinny, Andrew, Amanda, Olivia, Payton, Eric, and Marlee; his sisters, Linda Peterson of FL and Rose Vitanovitz of FL; and his brother Theodore Peterson of VA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2-6 PM and Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. A Masonic Service will be held at 4 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
