Harriet Weiss, 85, of Somerset, passed away in Haven Hospice on January 13, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on July, 28, 1931. She had resided in Perth Amboy and Metuchen before moving to Somerset. Harriet was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1949. She was a Homemaker.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Murray Slutsky in 1974;and two sisters, Annette Goldstein and Blossim Arlin.

Harriet is survived by her husband of 38 years, Clifford M. Weiss, of Somerset;  two daughters, Alisa Hector and her husband, Brian, of Wall Twp., and Jill Olsen of PA; son, Arnold Slutsky, of Miami, FL; seven grandchildren: Michelle, Jessica, Michael, Kelly, Max, Marissa, and Alexis; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive mourners on Monday 12:30 -1pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Funeral Services will be in the funeral home at 1 pm. Interment will be in Beth Israel Cemetery.
