Mrs. Harriet Goldstein,78, of Clark passed peacefully on November 23, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Harriet was born in Newark, NJ to the late Isaac and Lena Halpern Rosenthal. Beloved by the many who knew her, Harriet was retired from the Bank of America where she worked as a teller.
Harriet was not only the best mom, but a best friend with the biggest heart! As far as her children Jeffrey and Tracey are concerned: "There aren't enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe you mom…amazing, caring fabulous, friendly, wonderful, funny clever, flexible, reliable, and my favorite sweet and spicy!" She always knew what to do or say in any situation. She was the one person in the whole world that understood and could guide her children with her "light."
She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of over 50 years, Stanley Goldstein, in 2021. She is survived by her children: Tracey Dalla Chiara and husband Alberto of Venice Italy, and Jeffrey Goldstein and wife Monica of Weston, CT; grandchildren: Matteo, Luca, Jeremy, and Micah. She also leaves to mourn her loss her sister Shirley Gallant and brother Irving Rosenthal.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 until time of services at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ on Friday, November 25, 2022 where services will take place at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge. The family will return to Mrs. Goldstein's residence in Clark to observe Shiva until the end of the afternoon.
