Harold Osborne, 87, of Edison, died on Friday October 28, 2011, at his home.
He was born in and was formerly of Metuchen; he has resided in Edison for the last 56 years.
Harold graduated from Metuchen High School with the Class of 1941. He was an elder, trustee, and communion assistant at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords.
He was a US Navy veteran, serving in WWII. Harold retired in 1975 after 40 years as a Machinist for Hyatt Roller Bearing in Clark.

He is predeceased by his wife, Gertrude L. Osborne, who died in May of last year. Harold is survived by his daughter, Sandra Hehn and her husband Robert of Bealton, VA; his son, Harold Osborne and his wife Carol of Flanders; three grandchildren: Rob, Christy, and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Benjamin and Saige; and his sister, Blanche Hunter of Metuchen.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 31, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a Funeral Service at 9:30 a.m at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 30, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
