Harold Arny, 69, of Tamarac, FL entered eternal rest on October 29, 2023, at his residence in Florida.

He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to Gene and Marcella (n. Magasee) Arny on May 17, 1954. After graduating high school, Harold became an Ironworker for Ironworker Local 480 in Elizabeth, NJ. He also served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa (n. Campiglia) Arny of Tamarac, FL; his brother, John Arny and his wife Karen of Metuchen, NJ, his nephew, John Arny Jr of Metuchen, NJ; his sister, Lisa Gallagher and her husband Kevin, of Toms River, NJ; his step-children: Martin Davis and his fiancé, Susan Pallo of Maplewood, NJ; Kimberly Davis and Kevin Stokes, of South Amboy, NJ; and John Davis and Donna Shotz, of Edison, NJ; his grandchildren: Andrew Davis and his wife Michelle, Amanda Brancaccio and her husband Anthony, Michael Davis, Taylor Davis, and Lauren Stokes; his great-grandchildren: Andrew and Cole Davis, Elizabeth Brancaccio.

He is predeceased by his father, Gene Arny and his grandson, John Joseph Davis.

Harold was a member and Lector of St. Andrew's Church in Avenel, NJ. He was also a member of the Ironworkers Local 11 in Newark, NJ. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08690 followed by a graveside service at 11:45 am at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
