Hadley Paul Lane Jr, (also known as "Butch" to many) 77, of Clarksboro NJ, passed away on December 3, 2021, at Inspira Medical Center, Mullica Hill.

Born in Plainfield to Lois and Hadley Sr., before moving to Perth Amboy and meeting his high school sweetheart and wife Joyce Reid, class of '63. After attending The College of Emporia in Kansas,  Hadley married Joyce in August 12th, 1966. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Perth Amboy. After working for Sherwin Williams for many years, Hadley became a Corrections Officer and worked at Middlesex County Adult Corrections until retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Joyce of 55 years, son H. Paul 3rd.(Louisa) of Metuchen NJ, and daughter Wednesday of Clarksboro NJ. 7 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Caylee, Paul Jeremiah, London, and Memory of Clarksboro NJ. Also, H. Paul the 4th and Aliza of Metuchen NJ. His Sister Brenda Lane-Watkins of Clarksboro NJ and host of relatives and friends. Butch will forever be remembered for his humorous and over-the-top personality, and will be deeply missed by many.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Flynn and Son Funeral Home , 319 Amboy Avenue Metuchen, NJ 08840. Interment will be private.

At the request of the Lane family, masks are required within the funeral home to attend services.
