Guy R. Sharick, 59, of Laurence Harbor, passed suddenly and peacefully in his sleep, at his home, on Thursday, September 18, 2014.

He was born in Perth Amboy, raised in Woodbridge, and has resided in Laurence Harbor since 1986.



He was currently employed as a steamfitter for 35 years, with Local # 475 of Warren, NJ



He was a member of the NJ State Federation of Umpires and was actively involved with the Laurence Harbor Little League.


He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a diehard Dallas Cowboys Football Fan and Boston Red Sox Baseball Fan, and had a passion for cooking and fine foods.




He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Dianethia Sharick,
his brothers, Robert and Paul Sharick, Jr. and Martin Castimore along with his faithful Labs, Dillion and Buck.




Guy leaves behind his beloved children, Kyle and Melissa Sharick, his former wife, Martha Sharick, his three sisters, Sandra Engstrom, Darlene Sharick and Sharon Sweeney, his two brothers, William and Brian Sharick and also surviving are numerous nieces , nephews, family and friends.




Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10 a.m. Burial Office at Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Lane, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Cremation will follow privately.




Visitation will be on Monday, September 22, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 pm.
