GRACE ELIZABETH SCHERR
AGE: 91 METUCHEN
Grace "Gam" Elizabeth (Everett) Scherr, 91, of Metuchen, died April 6, 2010 at JFK Medical Center. Born April 16, 1918 in New York City, she resided in Metuchen for the last 40 years, and prior to that in Jersey City. She was a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.
Predeceased by late husband Joseph Scherr; and late son Joseph Scherr Jr. She left behind grateful and loving memories with her daughter Elaine Garcia of Metuchen. Son Michael Scherr Honolulu, Hawaii. 3 brothers, two sisters, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren that will be in our hearts forever.
Funeral Services Saturday, 9:45 from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, N.J. 08840, followed by a 10:15 Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
