Grace Timbone DeFresco 86, of Venice Florida, entered into eternal rest Tuesday December 11, 2012, at Whispering Knolls Assisted Living in Edison.

She was born in Manhatten, formerly of Brooklyn most recently living in Venice, Fl.

Grace was a former CCD teacher for 20 years at Guardian Angel's Church in Brooklyn and served as a member of the Rosary Society and as a Euchristic Minister at St. Mark's R.C. Church in Brooklyn. She started the Helen Keller Branch in Brooklyn, was the secretary or the Hampton Bay Beautification project, and a member of the Republican Club in Long Island.

Grace was predeceased by her husband Salvatore T. DeFresco in 1998. She is survived by her children; Peter C. of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Richard and Thomas A. DeFresco of Staten Island, Lydia Rausch of Matawan, and Valerie LaSalla of Fords, her three grandchildren Thomas Rausch, Marissa Figueroa, and Jenna LaSalla, and two great grandchildren Brandon and Skyler Rausch.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mark's R. C. Church 2609 East 19th Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. Entombment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum in Corum, N.Y, Visitation is on Thursday December 13, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.
