Glenn C. Rogers, 47, a life long resident of Metuchen, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick, surrounded with the love of his family at his side, after a courageous, six month battle with brain cancer.

He was born on April 8, 1966. He graduated from Metuchen High School in 1984, where he excelled on the varsity basketball teams. Glenn was the owner and operator of G & L Electric, Inc. of Metuchen for 25 years. Scuba diving was Glenn's passion and he was a beloved instructor with Ocean Explorers of Edison. He was also a member of B.N.I., a business network group in Woodbridge.
He leaves behind his beloved parents, Charles and Dorothy Rogers of Metuchen, his devoted sister, Lynn McSpadden and brother in law, Michael, of Spotswood, his two dear nieces, Maggie and Micaela McSpadden of Spotswood and the love of his life, his fiancé, Urszula Szpakowski of Metuchen and her son, Casper, Szpakowski, also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins. Glenn was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed!
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a service at 8 pm at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
