Gladys " Glady" Samsoe 82 of Edison entered into eternal rest, Sunday May 20, 2012, at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy, and is formerly of Fords for 35 years, moving to Edison last November. Glady retired from N.J. Bell in Fords, in 1988, after 37 years of service where she was also a member of the N.J. telephone pioneers. A graduate of Perth Amboy High School class of 1950, she was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Edison, and a member of the ladies aid group at the Church. She also belonged to the Danish Sisterhood and the Fords Women's Club.
Glady was predeceased by her brother Lee Samsoe. She is survived by her siblings Arthur Samsoe and his wife Barbara, of Edison; Estelle Coffey of Farmingdale; and Frances Lewis of Stowe, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 24, 2012 at 11 am at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church 120 Pleasant Ave., Edison. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
