Gino Funaro 93, of Fords, entered into eternal rest, Friday January 25, 2013, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in Rahway. He was born in Italy, and has resided in Fords for the past 50 years.
Gino was a machine operator at Lefkowitz Company in Milltown, for 23 years before retiring in 1984. He had also worked at Woolworth's in Menlo Park Mall, in the shoe repair department, for five years.
He was a communicant at Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn.
Gino was predeceased by his wife Giuseppina Adovasio Funaro in 2007. He is survived by his son Anthony of Edison, and daughters Maria Moni of Edison, and Lillian Lund of Piscataway, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2013, at 9 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 9:30 am funeral liturgy at Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Visitation is Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 4pm to 7 pm.
