Gertrude B. "Trudy" Lund 95 of Fords, entered into eternal rest, June 18, 2018 at the Amboy  Care Center in Perth Amboy.  She was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of Metuchen and Fords.

Trudy was a member of the Perth Amboy High School Class of 1941.  She was also a member of the Clara Barton First Aid Squad Auxiliary, and a Daughter of the American Revolution.

Trudy was predeceased by her husband Wilbur in 1992, her parents Howard and Nancy Carter, and her brother Herbert Carter.  She is survived by her nephews Larry Carter of Goodyear, AZ and John Carter of Fair Haven, and her sister-in-law Marian Carter of Fords.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed interment in Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery in North Brunswick.  Visitation is Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
