Gerardo Gurion Catalon, 55, of Fords, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick on March 8, 2021.

He was born on January 16, 1966, in Mangatarem, Pangasinan, Philippines and graduated with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, class of 1987 at Manuel L. Quezon University. He was a Letter Carrier for the US Post Office in Edison. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. He enjoyed watching sports and game shows and playing poker.

Gerardo was predeceased by his parents, Jose and Julita Catalon.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Elisa Catalon, of Fords; a daughter, Camille Catalon, of Fords; two sons, Julien and Kevin, Catalon, of Fords; a brother, Joel Catalon, of Fresno, CA.; and two sisters, Jenny Tolentino, of Daly City, CA.; and Juvy Adion, of Fresno, CA.

Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021, 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9 am at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
