Georgia Lynn
Boettinger
July 29, 1947 – April 20, 2022
Georgia "Lynn" Boettinger, aka "Nana", gained her angel wings on April 20, 2022, at Ocean Medical Center surrounded by her loving husband and two children. Lynn was 74 years old. Lynn lived with her husband, Roger, in Mantoloking, NJ for over 15 years.
Lynn's life may seem too short to some, but for those of us who were blessed to have known her understand that the imprint she left on our hearts far exceeds the quantity of time we spent together on earth. Lynn loved her family more than words can describe. A day didn't pass in which she didn't talk about how much her husband Roger of 41 years, two children Sherry (Stanley), Rick (Colleen), and her 5 "grandbabies" Chelsie, Rebecca, Justin, Riley, and Zachary meant to her. Lynn also loved her grand-pups Tess, Ruby, and Liberty. Lynn loved cheering on her grandchildren at all of their various sporting events, so much so that she has a family "Hall of Fame" wall in her home. Lynn was a master of all crafts: sewing, scrapbooking, painting, coloring - you name it, she loved it. She was an avid BINGO player and Atlantic City companion to her husband, Roger, and always a welcoming shoulder to lean on for all those she cared for. She loved a fun shopping outing and could be found roaming the aisles of QVC outlet, HomeGoods and TJ Maxx any chance she could get. Lynn was a vibrant light in many lives making each person she met feel that they were the most important person on the planet. Friends were more like family and strangers felt like old friends. She was a Godly woman who spent many days worshiping at Presbyterian Church of Toms River where she was a member for many years.
Lynn is survived by her two older brothers George and Gerald and is predeceased by her mother Elizabeth "Betty" Mazur and Father, George Mazur.
Services will be held at Flynn and Son (23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ) on April 26, 2022, from 9am to 12pm concluding with a spiritual service from 12-12:30pm. A guided convoy to Lynn's final resting place at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ) will immediately follow.
Lynn was an avid lover of flowers and plants. Anyone who wishes to honor her memory may do so by sending either for her beloved husband, Roger, to care for.
