George Telliho, 85, of Edison, passed away on January 12, 2015 at Haven Hospice, JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, George has resided in Edison since 1961. He was a Field Engineer for 38 years with IBM at Metro Park. George served in the US Air Force. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, the senior citizens and was a pirohi maker for the church; also a member of American Legion Post 324 in Edison.
George was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna, brothers, Michael, John, and his sister, Ann "Tillie".
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lillian (Kurta), his daughter, Linda of Carteret, Diane of Bedminster, Patricia and Roman of Somerset, and Pixie and Dusty. Also surviving is his brother Charles and many nieces and nephews.
Panachida services will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeal Home, 319 Amboy Ave, Metuchen, with a 10 AM Service of Divine Liturgy at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
Viewing will be Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM with a Parastas service at 8:30 PM.
