George A. Remini, 72, of Rahway, passed away on August 20, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in Manhattan, NY he resided in Rahway for the past 15 years.  George owned and operated an Asbestos Abatement Company.

George was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Remini; and his daughter, Stephanie Remini (2013).

George is survived by his wife Dana N. Connaughton to whom he was married for 14 years.

Dana writes:

To my beloved husband George Remini,

I'm going to miss you so much.  I will always remember your beautiful smile, your laugh and hilarious personality.  I will keep in my heart our memories together like going to estate sales, the beach, our trip to Hawaii and just being in each other's arms together.  Rest in peace until we meet again in Heaven.

George is also survived by his daughters, Elizabeth, Nicole and Leah; his grandchild, Sofia; and his dogs, Billy and Cookie.

Private funeral services were entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
