Obituary of George M. Palmer
George M. Palmer, 73, of Fords, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Atrium Post Acute Care of Matawan. Mr. Palmer was born in Fords to the late George J. and Rose (Hegedus) Palmer and had lived all of his life in Fords.
He was a member of Our Lady Of Peace RC Church in Fords.
George enjoyed walking as often as he could. He was a connoisseur of fine foods and loved a good meal.
He is survived by his two brothers: Lawrence J. Palmer and wife Carol of Woodbridge, and Richard Palmer and wife Margaret of Parlin, his nephew, Bryan Palmer and also his great niece Emily Palmer.
Graveside services were held at the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. Arrangements were under the direction of the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. Fords.
