George Howard Munn, 81, of Fords, passed away at Care One in East Brunswick on June 12, 2016. He was born July 6, 1934, in Fords. George was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force. He was a Truck Driver for Ross Viking in Dayton. George was a Methodist Pastor for the Glen Gardner United Methodist Church; he was the Chaplin for the Glenn Gardner Fire Department; the Pastor for the Paterson United Methodist Church, and the Trinity United Methodist Church in Rahway. He was a member of the Spotswood United Methodist Church. He played the piano, accordion and sang in the choir. George enjoyed selling honey at the Englishtown Flea Market. He was Captain of the Bocce Club at Clearwater Village and was an avid bowler.
Memorial visitation will be at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Spotswood on Thursday 3-5 pm. A memorial service will be offered at 5 pm, in the church. Burial will be on Friday at 11 am in Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
