George W. LaForge, 68, passed away peacefully at his home with his beloved wife by his side on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Born in Perth Amboy, George was a graduate of Middlesex County College.  After graduating from Middlesex George served in the US Army for 3 years as a paratrooper. After his military service, he resumed his education getting his Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University, then on to the Stevens Institute of Technology where he received his Master's Degree.  In 1980 he began his career at AT&T in Piscataway where he was employed as a systems analyst.  After getting married in 1984, he and his wife Wendy settled in his family's home in Edison.

George is preceded in death by his parents Willard F. LaForge Sr. and Dorothy Michaelis LaForge.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years Wendy LaForge; sister Linda LaForge - Couch and husband William Garrant Couch Jr.; brother Willard F. LaForge Jr. and wife Patricia; brother-in-law Howard Rothenberg and wife DeeDee, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Burial of his cremated remains will immediately follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ at 1 pm.
