George Goldfarb, 90, of Metuchen, passed away at NYU Medical Center in Manhattan on July 4, 2022. He was born in the Bronx, NY, on December 27, 1931. George was a retired Longshoreman from the ILA in Bayonne. He enjoyed music, particularly jazz. He played the piano and sang. George was a Yankee's fan and a lifelong Giant's fan.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Alice Goldfarb who died in 2015.

George is survived by two sons, Chris Goldfarb, and his wife, Gina, of Parlin; Gerald Goldfarb, and his wife, Julie, of Edison; three daughters, Pat Lee, of Spotswood; Ellen Goldfarb, of Jackson; and Liz Saccente, and her husband, Lenny, of Edison; thirteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022, 10 am -12 noon. At the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn cemetery in Iselin.
