George Y. Chin, 88, of Edison, passed away on April 22, 2019, at his son's residence.  Born in Roxbury, MA, George was a resident of Metuchen, before moving to Edison 15 years ago.  He was a long time member of Reformed Church of Metuchen, serving as a Deacon, and sang in the choir.

George was predeceased by his wife Susan Chin (2010); a daughter, Pamela Chin (2018); two sisters, Rose Eng and Mary Moy; and two brothers, Bing Chin and Henry Chin.

George is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey K. Chin, and daughter-in-law Amy, and Gordon Chin; two grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 from Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM Saturday morning.
