Genevieve E. Wagner, 99, of Edison, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset.

She was born in Jersey City, was formerly of Brooklyn, NY and resided in Highland Park 38 years.

Genevieve was a former communicant of St. Paul The Apostle Church in Highland Park and currently of the Church of the Guardian Angel in Edison both of The Transfiguration of the Lord Parish
She was also a former member of the St. Paul Seniors and the Highland Park Senior Citizens Clubs.

She was predeceased by husband, John Wagner, who died in 1947.

She was formerly employed with AT &T of Piscataway, for 11 years, in the stock holder relations dept. before retiring in 1978.

She is survived by her son, Richard P. Wagner and his wife, Beverly of Edison, her daughter, Janice E. Wagner of Flemington, her 2 grandchildren, Jill Heinrich and her husband Dean of Monroe, CT, and Nicholas Lazzaro of Somerset, and her 2 great grandchildren, Sofia and Daniel.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the Flynn and son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840,
Followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St Paul the Apostle Church, of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish of Highland Park.
An Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park Piscataway.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m.
