Genevieve Kosker, 81, of Snellville, GA., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Genevieve was born on August 14, 1935, in Wilks-Barre, PA, to Benjamin and Julia Niewinski. She resided in Toms River and Fords, prior to moving to Snellville, GA. She was a Registered Nurse at JFK and the Old Soldiers Home in Edison.

Genevieve was predeceased by husband, James P. Kosker; daughter, Dawn, and daughter-in-law, Laurie.

She is survived by two sons, James Kosker of Morrisville, PA, and Frank Kosker of Sparta; daughter, Kathryn Shockley and her husband, Rich, of Snellville, GA.; daughter-in-law, Robin Kosker; eight grandchildren: Lauren, Eric, Christina, Richard, Hayley, Katie, Emily, and Sarah; three great-granddaughters: and a brother, Ben Niewinski.

Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017, 8-10 am, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin 10 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
