Genevieve "Jean" Kopervas (nee: Faraca), 84, of Edison, passed away on September 11, 2016, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy and resided in Perth Amboy and Woodbridge before moving to Edison.
Jean was a telecommunication purchaser for AT&T in Piscataway before retiring in 1994. She was a communicant at Holy Spirt and Holy Trinity Churches and a member of the Tripoli Club in Perth Amboy.
Jean was predeceased by her husband William in 2008 and her son Keith in 1992. Surviving are her sons, William and his wife Michele of Edison, Kenneth and his wife Roseann of Edison, 2 granddaughters, Robyn Bermudez and Paige Kopervas, great grandson, Kenneth, a brother, Anthony Faraca and his wife Dorothy, sisters, Patti Mattina and her husband Carl and Antoinette Snusko and her husband Frank, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., with a 10AM Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish Holy Trinity Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn. Viewing will be Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
