Gary M. Koperwhats, Jr.'s Obituary
Gary M. Koperwhats Jr., 29, of Sewaren entered into eternal rest Saturday May 21, 2011, at University Hospital in Newark.
Gary was born in Edison and lived in Fords before moving to Sewaren 10 years ago. He was a landscaper with Donella Landscaping in Colonia. He was a member of the Avenel VFW post #7164 and truly enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Gary is survived by his parents, Gary M. and Cathy L. Churkery Koperwhats; his siblings, Rebecca L. Koperwhats of Woodbridge and Kyle M. Koperwhats of Sewaren; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Rosemary Koperwhats of Millsboro, DE; his nephew, Kenneth E. Nagy III; and his beloved dog JD.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 9:00 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Anthony's RC Church in Port Reading. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm.
