Gary J. Forziati 95, of Toms River, entered into eternal rest Saturday January 3, 2015 at the Brandywine Assisted Living in Toms River. He was born in New York City, and was formerly of Iselin, before moving to Toms River in 2000.
Gary retired in 1993 as Mason and Bricklayer with Bricklayers and Plasterers Union Local #27 in Perth Amboy.
He was a former communicant at St. Cecelia's R C Church in Iselin, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3639 in Iselin, and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Gary was one of twelve Children. He was predeceased by his loving wife Lorna Rose Forziati in 2012. He was a loving father to his children, Gloria Jean Davis of Easton, PA, Pamela Semenza of Jackson, Lynette Rousseau of Melbourne, FL, Joanne Abrams of Ortley Beach, Gary of Brigantine, Raymond of Lakewood, Wayne of Manahawkin, and Richard of Parlin. Gary was a dear grandfather to his 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday January 7, 2015 from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 8, 2015 at 9:15 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Cecelia's Church.
