Gary S. Dzama, 68, of Edison, NJ, passed peacefully, with the love of his family at his side, on Friday, January 30, 2026 at RWJ Hospital at Hamilton, NJ.

Born in  Elizabeth NJ, he had resided for most of his life in Edison Twp.

He was a graduate of the Perth Amboy Vocational Technical High School.

He was a retired electrician, after over 25 years as an Electrician with IBEW Union local # 102 in Parsippany, NJ.

He was a member of the Milltown Rangers Athletic Club and he was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

He was predeceased by his parents; George and Alice Dzama, and his brother George Dzama who died in 2021.

Gary leaves behind, his beloved wife of  35 years, Donna Dzama, his dog and faithful companion, RyLee, his brother, Gregory Dzama and his wife Lisa of Edison, his sister, Ellen Bonner and her husband Kenneth of Edison, his sister-in-law, Carol Liik and her husband Jim of Toms River, and also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at, the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday morning, February 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, with Rev. Shelia Hobson-Johnson officiating.  Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum in Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: the American Cancer Society.
