Gary S. Cooper, 54, of Fords, died suddenly at his home on Friday, December 23, 2016.

Born in South Plainfield, he was formerly of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge, before moving to Fords 21 years ago.

He was a graduate of JFK High School, Iselin, with the Class of 1980.

He was currently the owner/operator of G & G Truck Services, Inc., Elizabeth.

Gary is predeceased by his beloved son, Justin Philip, who recently died on November 23, 2016, his father, Harold Samuel Cooper and sister-in-law, Kathy Rossi.

He leaves behind, his beloved wife, Janet M. (Oberdick) Cooper, his mother, Natalie Cooper, his three brothers and their wives, David and Judy, Samuel and Wendy, and Daniel and Connie, his sisters-in–law and their husbands, Carol & Mike Lamberti, Tricia and Tony Gardner, and Susan and Herb Meikle, his mother and father-in law, Michael and Carol Oberdick and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm with a service at 7:30 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
