Gail Ginda, 80, of Edison died unexpectedly Monday, October 10, 2022, at home in Edison.

Gail was born in Hoboken to the late Heinz Fischer and Marie Logoyda. She grew up in Huntington, Long Island and graduated from Walt Whitman High School.  Gail worked as a Library Aide, first at Woodrow Wilson Middle School and then James Monroe Elementary School in Edison. She loved camping and volunteered for years as a trainer for Girl Scout Leaders in the Delaware-Raritan Girl Scout Council.  Gail also enjoyed cooking, reading, hiking, and traveling. Most of all, she was supportive, generous, and caring, and loved her family dearly.

Gail is survived by her loving husband Eugene (Gene) Ginda; her two daughters, Gina Medvedz and husband, Paul, and Julie Choma and her husband Viliam; her brother Gregory Fischer, of California; her beloved grandchildren, Morgan Medvedz and her fiancé David Anthony, Joshua Medvedz, Carter Choma, Logan Choma, and Madelyn Choma. Gail will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday October 15, 2022, from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863. A prayer service will begin at 2:30 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately; burial will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown at a later date.
