Gail P. Feist 82, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, September 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Gail worked for the City of Perth Amboy from 1953 to 1990 starting as a Secretary and working her way up to Business Administrator for the last 12 years.  She then went on to be the Business Administrator for Monroe Township from 1992 to 2001.

She served on the Perth Amboy City Council from 1990 to 1994 and was Council President from '92 to '94. She was the first female member of the Perth Amboy Kiwanis Club.

Gail was predeceased by her brother William Harrigan in 2014.  She is survived by  Ernest her husband of 59 years, her children Ernest W. and his wife Sylvie of Monroe Township, and Kimberly LoBoi and her husband Damon of Monroe Township, two grandchildren Ernest W. Jr. and Sean Pajak and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.  Visitation is Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm.
