Obituary of Gail L. DiLeo


Gail Lillian DiLeo, 73, of Avenel, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mrs. DiLeo was born in Perth Amboy to the late John and Lillian Swist and had resided in Avenel for the past thirty-three years.
Mrs. DiLeo was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. In addition to her parents, Gail was also predeceased by her sister Janet Stivale.
She is survived by her loving husband, thirty- two years, Angelo V. DiLeo, her daughter: Laura Howard of Avenel, and her three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery in Wrightstown. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
