Gail S. Applegate's Obituary
Gail S. Applegate, 67, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died Monday September 6, 2010, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in Morgan for 44 years. She retired in 1995 from DuPont in Parlin after 15 years of service. Gail was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School's Class of 1960 and the College of NJ with a teaching certificate in elementary education. She was a long-time member of St Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy and member of the Mother's Guild. She was an avid bowler and Mets fan.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Franklin A. Applegate, and sons, Aaron of Hoboken, and Alan of Morgan.
Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 pm on Friday September 10, 2010, at FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ. Visiting hours on Friday will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Living Memorial Fund of St Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
