Frederick W. Rutzler, age 56 of Edison, died on Friday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Kearny and resided in Toms River before moving to Edison 26 years ago.

Frederick was formerly employed as a Warehouse Manager for Porcelanosa of East Brunswick for 4 years and prior to that he had been employed as an Assistant Manager with New Jersey Bell of Newark and Edison for over 23 years. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge # 2487 in Edison.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Rutzler and his brother, Robert Rutzler.

Surviving are his wife of almost 25 years, Doreen Rutzler, his son, Frederick W. Rutzler, Jr. and his daughters, Ashley E. and Sarah E. Rutzler, all at home, his seven brothers, Richard Rutzler of North Carolina, George Rutzler of Toms River, Thomas Rutzler of Florida, Edward Rutzler of South Toms River, Kenneth Rutzler of Cherry Hill, Lawrence Rutzler of Ocean Grove and Eugene Rutzler of Bayville and his four sisters, Sharon Livingston and Kathrine Salmon, both of Kearny, Marilyn Cohen of Cherry Hill and Margaret Crincoli of Toms River. Also surviving are thirty seven nieces and nephews.
