Frederick Robert Hays 80, of Fords, NJ, son of the late Frederick W. and Alma Hays, entered into eternal rest, May 16, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.  He was born in Plainfield and has resided in Fords, NJ for the past 48 years.

Robert was a Probation Supervisor in the Union County Probation Dept. for 33 years before retiring in 1996.

He was an Army veteran serving during the time of the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his sister Glenna Lewis.  Robert is survived by his wife Elaine Zicaro Hays, his daughter Adrienne Hays, son Christian Robert Hays, grandchildren, and nieces Diana and Linda.

Private services for immediate family were arranged by the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford, Avenue, Fords.
