Frank A. Malyska "Butchie", 69, of Edison, passed away on May 30, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, Butchie was a life-long resident of Edison.  He was a communicant of St. Matthew the Apostle Church,Edison. Butchie owned and operated Frank A. Malyska Builders, Edison for 51.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.  Butchie was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved spending time at his farm in upstate NY.  Most of all, he always looked forward to spending time with his grandson, Jake.

Butchie was predeceased by his wife, Jane Elizabeth Malyska (2008).

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Thomas and her husband, John, of PA; his son, Frank W. Malyska, of Edison; his cherished grandson, Jake Riley Thomas; a sister-in-law, Kathy Shellabarger; a brother-in-law, William Bell; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and his devoted dog, Lola.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 9:15 AM from Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, followed by a 10 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison.  Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
