Frank DellaPietro, 74 of Fords, passed away at JFK Medical Center on September 20, 2013. He was born June 28, 1939 in Long Branch. Frank was a life long resident of Fords. He worked construction for local 72. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church and the CBS men's bowling league. He loved to hunt, fish and build. He also served in the US Army.

He is predeceased by his parents Fred and Edith DellaPietro.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Faith (nee Ginsberg) of Fords; 2 sons, Alex DellaPietro and Ivan Velez of Fords; daughter, Dawn Vignola of Albany, NY; brother, Fred DellaPietro and his wife Mary of Edison; grandson, Julian Thomas; four nieces, Jaime Jennings; Gail Neary; Lisa Slevens; Denise Post; great-nieces, Sydney; Samantha; Danielle and great-nephew Timothy.

Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Tuesday 8:30 am at the funeral home, followed by a 9 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Cremation will be private.
