Francisco Farinas, 93, of Perth Amboy died January 13, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.

Born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, he resided in Perth Amboy since 1969. Francisco was the owner of the Farinas Cigar Shop on Madison Ave., in Perth Amboy for 27 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Francisco is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Hilda Farinas, who died in 2007 and his daughter, Silvia Alonso.

He is survived by three daughters: Hilda Lang and her husband Dr. Francis Lang of Middletown, Maria Schneck and her husband George of Perth Amboy, and Misbel Alonso of Cuba; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-drandchilden, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much.

Funeral services will be on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 10:00 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Entombment will be in Fair View Cemetery's Mausoleum.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 16, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
