Francis S. "Babe" Kovacs' Obituary
Francis S. "Babe" Kovacs, 80, of Somerset entered into eternal rest August 16, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Edison and has resided in Somerset for the past 35 years. Francis was a Frame Mechanic at P&J Auto Service in Fords for more than 40 years before retiring in 2002. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and he built and raced a car at various tracks in the Tri-state area.
Francis is survived by his wife, Marie, to whom he was married for 42 years; his children, Christopher Kovacs of Toms River and Susanne Kovacs of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters: Dorothy Yuhasz of Metuchen and Elenor Horvath of South Jersey.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2011, from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to JFK Haven Hospice, 65 James St., Edison, NJ.
