Francia N. Manantan, 59, of Fords, passed away on December 24, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in the Philippines, Francia was a resident of California before moving to Fords 22 years ago.  Francia retired from New York University in 2014, after 17 years as a Gift Administrator.  She was a member of the Villasinians of East Coast, she enjoyed dancing, and traveling.  Francia especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Francia was predeceased by her parents, Florencia and Arcadio Niebres; her siblings, Shirley Rivera, Evangeline Manantan, Juliet Niebres, and Felix Niebres.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco, of 38 years; her children; Francis R. Manantan and daughter-in-law Angelina, Mia F. Manantan and Millenne M. Manantan; her two grandchildren, Audrina and Laila; her siblings, Beverly Denina, Jun Niebres, Norma Orbita, and Archie Niebres.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 4 PM to 8PM, and Sunday, from 4 PM to 8 PM, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. A catholic prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM Sunday evening.  Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
