Frances Joyce Novak 94 of Edison, entered into eternal rest, October 3, 2018 in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center.    She was born in Stroud Glos, England, and was formerly of Metuchen for 48 years moving to Edison 14 years ago.

Joyce belonged to the Cosmopolitan Club for over 10 years.  She was a founding member of the Duke of Cornwall Chapter of the Daughters of the British Empire (DRE), where she was the Recording Secretary for most of the 47 years she was a member and relinquished the position as her eye sight began to fail.

Frances was predeceased by her husband Boris John in 2004.  She is survived by her sons; Gregory and his wife Barbara of Lancaster, CA, and Bruce of Edison, 2 grandchildren Stephen and Meredith, 2 great grandchildren Nora and Henry and her brother Ivor Burford.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, with a service at 5 pm.
