Frances Blom, 75, of Piscataway passed away at home on November 9, 2022.

She was born in The Hague in Holland on January 9, 1947, to the late Jacob and Cornelia (nee. Kotvite) Blom.

Frances attended the Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing in Perth Amboy, NJ where she earned her license as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 43 years at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. In her spare time, Frances enjoyed restoring antiques and building furniture.

She is survived by her beloved wife of 5 years, Magda Padilla, of Piscataway; her brother, Jacob Michelle Blom, of Virginia; her niece, Heather; her nephews: Edward and Michael; her sisters-in-law, Meredith Colon Kathy Blom, and Mildred Padilla, and a brother-in law, Ruben Padilla; and her three cats, Lola, Tony, and Jack.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by an interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
