Floyd N. Michel, Sr., 86, of Metuchen, passed away on November 8, 2016 at home. Born in Imperial, PA, he resided in Metuchen for 58 years.

Floyd was an Office Manager for 25 years at Air Reduction Company in Union, retiring in 1988.

He was predeceased by his son, Mark R., and his sister, Henrietta McElhaney.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann (McIntosh), his sons, Floyd M., Jr. and his wife Debra of Monmouth Beach, James and his wife Gloria of Edison, 5 grandchildren, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Viewing will be Friday 6-8 PM.
