Florenece Lewkowitz's Obituary
Florence Lewkowitz (nee Fischer) of Fords died Friday November 26, 2010, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was a life-long resident of Fords, Beach Haven, and most recently Ortley Beach.
She will always remain 39 years old. Florence was a homemaker and member of Emblem Club of the Woodbridge Elks Lodge 2116. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, and loved to go to concerts, shows, and Atlantic City. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers.
She married the love of her life, William J. Lewkowitz, who died in 2001. He was a life member of IBEW. Surviving is her daughter, Lori N. Lewkowitz of Fords, a certified court reporter in New York and New Jersey, and a sister, Rita Goins of Fords.
A Memorial service will be held Monday, December 6, 2010, at 10:30 am at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, in Beth Israel Cemetery (corner of Rte. 1 and Woodbridge Center Drive Woodbridge, NJ). Entombment of cremains will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Woodbridge Animal Shelter, Two George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
